A great way to save money online and in store is through money saving apps. These apps and websites are an easy way to earn cash back on your every day purchases. Here are the top 10 rewards apps and websites that I consistently use to save hundreds of dollars every year.
1. IBOTTA
Ibotta is by far my favorite and most used money saving app. Its a grocery shopping app that pays you cash for redeeming offers on a wide range of products. Simply add the offers you want, make a purchase at the approved store and snap a picture of your receipt to earn cash back. Ibotta has a huge list of stores where you can redeem offers such as Safeway, Walmart, Target and Whole Foods to name a few. Once you've redeemed $20 worth of offers you are able to cash out and get money deposited straight to your bank account, through PayPal, or redeem for gift cards. 2. FETCH REWARDS:
The Fetch Rewards app is another great money saving app that turns your grocery receipts into savings. Scan your grocery receipts in the app every time you shop at a store and earn points on thousands of products that appear on your receipt. Rakuten is the largest online cash back website where you can earn cash back for shopping online. I have made almost $600 just from shopping through Rakuten on purchases I would have made anyway. They offer cash back on a ton of stores including Lululemon, Sephora, Nike, Overstock and more. Cash back varies by store and is usually 1% to 10% cash back but they run promotions frequently and offer double cash back quite frequently. 4. RECEIPT PAL
Receipt Pal is an app that allows you to earn gift cards and cash prizes just for submitting photos of your receipts. The receipts can be from any retailer as long as the purchase was made within 7 days of uploading it. All you have to do is use the Receipt Pal app and take a picture of your receipt and you can also link your Amazon account to earn points on every receipt. You can redeem your points for gift cards to retailers such as Target, Walmart, Amazon, Lowes and Visa. Sign up with the link and start earning points.
Drop is a rewards app similar to Rakuten where you shop through their app for online purchases and get rewarded points. They offer stores such as Safeway, Walmart, Postmates, Groupon and many more. Shopkick is an app that rewards you for shopping both in-store and online. You an earn points in-store when you walk into partner stores (such as Target, CVS, Walmart and more), scan products through the app or make purchases. You can also visit their online partners through the app, select offers and make online purchases to earn more points. Redeem points for online gift cards such as Amazon, Target, Starbucks and Groupon or cash out through PayPal (my personal favorite). Use the Dosh app to earn cash back when you shop, dine out or travel. All you have to do is download the app and link your cards to start earning points. Unlike some rewards apps you dont have to select offers or scan your receipts, Dosh automatically adds the cash back to your wallet just by shopping the way you normally do. Once you've accumulated $25 you can then transfer it to your bank, PayPal or Venmo, or donate to charity. There have been times where I have opened the Dosh app and there was cash back in my account on purchases that I completely forgot I made. 8. 1Q
1Q is an app that pays you twenty five cents every time you answer a question they send you. Companies work with 1Q to collect consumer opinions and they send the questions directly to you. All you have to do is download the 1Q app and fill out a brief profile and 1Q will send you questions based on your profile. They pay twenty five cents per question but often times there are multiple questions that pay out upwards of a dollar. You do have keep your notifications on because the questions do expire so you want to answer them as quickly as possible. once you answer the question you get paid out instantly through PayPal which is a huge advantage to this app. Use this link to download the app today and start getting paid for your answers.
9. GET UPSIDE
Get Upside is an app that partners with gas stations, select grocery stores and restaurants to offer cash back on your purchases. I use this app mainly for saving money on gas as they offer up to 25 cents cash back per gallon of gas you purchase at participating gas stations. All you have to do is check the app for participating gas stations near you, use a credit or debit card to fill up you tank and either upload a receipt or just check in and earn cash back. 10. SWAGBUCKS
Swagbucks is a search engine that rewards you with points for activities such as taking surveys, uploading grocery receipts, online shopping, and of course using their search engine to browse the web. You can use Swagbucks on your computer or download the app and use it on your phone. Once you've accumulated 500 points you can redeem your points for gift cards or cash through PayPal.
